This Privacy Policy describes how Cheerio World Inc., doing business as Star67 (“Star67,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you access or use the Star67 mobile application, website, software, avatar systems, video chat features, account features, subscriptions, communications, and related services, collectively, the “Services.”

Star67 is an adult-only mobile application that allows users to communicate with other users through live video, audio, text, and avatar-based visual representations. The Services are intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information from and about you in several ways, including information you provide directly, information collected automatically, information generated through your use of the Services, and information we receive from third parties.

1.1 Account Information

Because Star67 allows users to create accounts, we may collect information such as:

  1. Name, username, display name, or account handle.
  2. Email address.
  3. Phone number, if used for account creation, verification, safety, or login.
  4. Password or authentication credentials, which may be stored in hashed or encrypted form.
  5. Date of birth, age confirmation, or other information used to determine that you are at least 18.
  6. Profile information you choose to provide.
  7. Avatar preferences, account settings, language preferences, and user preferences.
  8. Login history, account status, bans, suspensions, warnings, and moderation history.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that you do not provide information that belongs to another person without authorization.

1.2 Avatar Information

The Services may allow you to choose, use, customize, upload, import, or display avatars, virtual characters, masks, effects, filters, clothing, accessories, or other digital representations, collectively, “Avatars.”

We may collect or process information related to Avatars, including:

  1. Avatar files, images, textures, models, animations, metadata, thumbnails, and previews.
  2. Avatar names, descriptions, tags, categories, and customization choices.
  3. Technical information needed to render, animate, compress, optimize, moderate, or display Avatars.
  4. Information about which Avatars you use, unlock, purchase, upload, select, report, or interact with.
  5. Moderation information related to Avatars, including reports, review decisions, removals, restrictions, or safety flags.

If you upload an Avatar or avatar-related content, you are responsible for ensuring that you own or have all rights necessary to upload and use that content in Star67. Additional rules regarding Avatar ownership, licensing, and intellectual property are described in our Terms of Use.

1.3 Camera, Microphone, Video, Audio, and Live Chat Information

Star67 may request access to your device camera and microphone so that you can participate in live video, audio, and avatar-based chat features.

When you use live chat, avatar chat, video chat, audio chat, or related features, we may collect, process, record, review, store, or analyze information such as:

  1. Live video stream data.
  2. Live audio stream data.
  3. Video recordings or clips.
  4. Audio recordings or clips.
  5. Screenshots, visual snapshots, or image frames.
  6. Chat session metadata, including session time, duration, participants, match status, skips, reports, likes, blocks, and moderation events.
  7. Face tracking, facial movement, expression, or motion data used to animate your Avatar.
  8. Voice, speech, or audio information used to enable live communication.
  9. Technical data needed to connect, route, transmit, moderate, debug, or improve live chat sessions.

We may record or retain video, audio, screenshots, clips, chat information, session metadata, or related information for safety, legal, moderation, abuse prevention, product quality, debugging, analytics, user support, and to provide a better user experience.

We may use automated tools, human review, third-party service providers, or a combination of these methods to help detect, review, moderate, investigate, or prevent violations of our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, safety rules, or applicable law.

You understand that other users may take screenshots, screen recordings, videos, audio recordings, or otherwise capture your interactions through third-party tools or device features. Star67 cannot prevent all user recording, copying, or sharing outside the Services. You should use caution when communicating with strangers and avoid sharing sensitive personal information.

1.4 User Content and Communications

We may collect content or information you create, upload, submit, display, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Services, including:

  1. Text messages or chat content.
  2. Reports, complaints, appeals, or support messages.
  3. Feedback, ratings, survey responses, or product suggestions.
  4. Profile content, usernames, bios, interests, or preferences.
  5. Uploaded Avatar content.
  6. Images, files, or other content you choose to provide.
  7. Metadata related to chats, such as session duration, match status, reports, skips, likes, blocks, and moderation outcomes.

1.5 Device, App, Analytics, Debugging, and Usage Information

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect information about your device, app, and activity, including:

  1. Device type, model, operating system, and version.
  2. App version and build number.
  3. Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, vendor identifiers, push notification tokens, or similar identifiers.
  4. IP address.
  5. Approximate location based on IP address or device settings.
  6. Time zone, language, region, and country.
  7. Log data, crash reports, diagnostic data, performance data, and error reports.
  8. Pages, screens, buttons, features, and content you interact with.
  9. Session duration, frequency of use, match history, skips, likes, reports, blocks, and moderation interactions.
  10. Referral source, campaign attribution, or marketing attribution data.
  11. Network information, connection quality, latency, bandwidth, and device performance information.

We use analytics, debugging, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and diagnostic tools to understand how the Services are used, identify technical issues, improve reliability, improve safety, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and provide a better user experience.

1.6 Payment and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription, in-app purchase, premium feature, avatar, token, or other paid offering through the Apple App Store, Apple processes your payment information.We generally do not receive your full credit card number or other complete payment credentials from Apple. We may receive information related to your purchase, such as:

  1. Product purchased.
  2. Subscription status.
  3. Renewal status.
  4. Expiration date.
  5. Transaction identifiers.
  6. Refund, cancellation, or billing status.
  7. App Store receipt or verification data.

Apple’s collection and use of payment information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and payment terms.

1.7 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including:

  1. Apple, including sign-in, purchase, subscription, and receipt information.
  2. Authentication providers, if you choose to log in through a third-party service.
  3. Analytics providers.
  4. Crash reporting and debugging providers.
  5. Moderation and safety providers.
  6. Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
  7. Customer support tools.
  8. Marketing, attribution, advertising, or retargeting partners.
  9. Other users who report or mention you.

We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information unless you choose to provide it or unless it is necessary for safety, moderation, legal compliance, or operation of the Services.

3. Cookies, Local Storage, SDKs, and Similar Technologies

Because Star67 is a mobile app and may also operate a website at star67.app, we may use mobile software development kits, local storage, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, tokens, pixels, cookies, and similar technologies, collectively, “Tracking Technologies.”We may use Tracking Technologies to:

  1. Keep you logged in.
  2. Authenticate your account.
  3. Remember settings and preferences.
  4. Provide and improve app functionality.
  5. Enable safety, security, anti-spam, and anti-fraud measures.
  6. Analyze app usage and performance.
  7. Understand crashes, bugs, errors, and debugging information.
  8. Measure marketing campaign performance.
  9. Deliver, measure, or improve advertising, including through advertising networks or retargeting partners.
  10. Support push notifications and user communications.

You may be able to limit certain Tracking Technologies through your device settings, browser settings, app permissions, or operating system privacy controls. If you disable certain permissions or identifiers, some features of the Services may not work properly.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information for the following purposes.

4.1 To Provide the Services

  1. Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts.
  2. Provide avatar-based video, audio, and chat features.
  3. Match users with other users.
  4. Display Avatars and user content.
  5. Enable subscriptions, premium features, purchases, and account settings.
  6. Provide customer support.
  7. Send service-related messages, updates, and notices.
  8. Remember preferences and personalize app experiences.

4.2 Safety, Security, Legal Compliance, and Moderation

We use information to:

  1. Help confirm that users are at least 18.
  2. Enforce our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, Avatar Upload Rules, and other policies.
  3. Record, review, analyze, or retain video, audio, screenshots, clips, reports, metadata, or other information for safety, legal, moderation, and abuse prevention purposes.
  4. Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, spam, harassment, exploitation, fraud, illegal activity, and safety risks.
  5. Review user reports, complaints, appeals, and moderation flags.
  6. Suspend, ban, restrict, or remove users or content.
  7. Protect users, Star67, minors, third parties, and the public.
  8. Share information with law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.

4.3 Product Improvement, Analytics, and Debugging

We use information to:

  1. Understand how users interact with the Services.
  2. Improve app performance, reliability, usability, and safety.
  3. Fix bugs, crashes, and technical problems.
  4. Debug and troubleshoot the Services.
  5. Develop new features, including avatar, matching, safety, moderation, and user experience features.
  6. Conduct internal research, analytics, testing, and measurement.
  7. Generate aggregated or de-identified statistics.
  8. Provide a better, safer, and more enjoyable user experience.

4.4 Advertising, Marketing, and Retargeting

We may use personal information to:

  1. Promote Star67.
  2. Measure marketing performance.
  3. Understand which campaigns led users to install or use the Services.
  4. Show, measure, or improve advertising.
  5. Work with advertising networks, attribution providers, or retargeting partners.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws unless we update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required rights, notices, or choices.

4.5 Payments and Subscriptions

We use purchase and subscription information to:

  2. Provide premium features.
  3. Manage subscription access.
  4. Prevent fraud and abuse.

5.1 Other Users

Certain information may be visible to or shared with other users as part of the Services, including:

  1. Your username, display name, profile information, and Avatar.
  2. Content you choose to share during a chat.
  3. Audio, video, avatar movement, or other live session data needed to provide the chat experience.
  4. Shared interests, preferences, or other matching-related information, if applicable.
  5. Information you voluntarily disclose in chats, profiles, or other interactions.

You should assume that anything you share with another user may be recorded, screenshotted, saved, copied, or shared by that user outside of Star67.

5.2 Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate the Services, such as:

  1. Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
  2. Database and storage providers.
  3. Authentication providers.
  4. Analytics providers.
  5. Crash reporting, debugging, and diagnostics providers.
  6. Customer support providers.
  7. Moderation and safety providers.
  8. Payment and subscription verification providers.
  9. Email, SMS, and push notification providers.
  10. Marketing attribution providers.
  11. Advertising networks and retargeting partners.
  12. Content delivery and security providers.

These providers may access personal information only as needed to perform services for us and are expected to protect the information consistent with applicable law and contractual obligations.

5.3 Product Improvement, Analytics, and Debugging

If you use Star67 through an iOS device or purchase a subscription or in-app purchase through Apple, certain information may be shared with or processed by Apple according to Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

5.4 Analytics, Debugging, Advertising, and Retargeting Partners

We may share information with analytics, debugging, advertising, attribution, measurement, or retargeting partners to help us understand usage, improve the Services, fix bugs, measure campaigns, prevent fraud, and promote Star67.

This information may include device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, app events, campaign attribution data, usage data, crash data, and similar technical information.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws unless we update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required rights, notices, or choices.

5.5 Law Enforcement, Legal Process, and Safety

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to:

  1. Comply with law, legal process, court order, subpoena, warrant, government request, or regulatory requirement.
  2. Enforce our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, Avatar Upload Rules, or other policies.
  3. Protect the safety, rights, or property of Star67, users, minors, third parties, or the public.
  4. Detect, investigate, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, exploitation, harassment, spam, security incidents, or illegal activity.
  5. Respond to emergency situations.

5.6 Business Transfers

We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, dissolution, or other business transaction involving all or part of Star67.

5.7 Aggregated or De-Identified Information

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for business, research, analytics, marketing, safety, or product improvement purposes.

6. Sales and Sharing of Personal Information

Star67 does not sell personal information for money.

Star67 does not knowingly sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws, including California privacy law.

We may use analytics, debugging, advertising, attribution, or retargeting tools to operate, improve, market, and measure the Services. If our use of these tools changes in a way that constitutes a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required notices, rights, and choices.

7. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights and choices regarding your personal information.

7.1 Account Settings

You may be able to access, correct, update, or delete certain account information through the app settings.

7.2 Device Permissions

You can control access to your camera, microphone, photos, notifications, tracking permissions, and certain device features through your device settings.If you disable camera or microphone access, video, audio, and avatar features may not work properly.

7.3 Push Notifications

You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings. We may still send you important service-related communications where permitted.

7.4 Marketing Communications

If we send marketing emails or messages, you may opt out using the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in those communications. You may still receive non-marketing service messages.

7.5 Deleting Your Account

You may request deletion of your account by using the in-app deletion feature, if available, or by contacting us at support@star67.app.‍

We may retain certain information after account deletion where necessary or permitted by law, including for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, moderation records, or protection of users and the public.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

9.3 Categories of Third Parties

We may disclose personal information to the categories of recipients described in Section 5 above, including other users, service providers, Apple, safety providers, analytics providers, debugging providers, advertising networks, retargeting partners, legal authorities, and business transaction recipients.

9.4 Sale or Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money.We do not knowingly sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California privacy law.We may use analytics, debugging, advertising, attribution, or retargeting tools to operate, improve, market, and measure the Services. 9.5 Sensitive Personal Information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit under California law, unless otherwise stated or required by law.

9.7 California “Shine the Light” Law

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure of certain personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 10. Notice Regarding Children and Minors

Star67 is strictly for users who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use the Services and do not provide us with any personal information.

If we learn or believe that a person under 18 has used the Services or provided personal information, we may suspend or terminate the account and take steps to delete or restrict the information, subject to legal, safety, and compliance obligations.

Parents, guardians, or others who believe that a minor has provided personal information to Star67 may contact us at support@star67.app with “Minor Privacy Request” in the subject line.

We may retain information where necessary to protect safety, prevent repeat access by minors, comply with law, cooperate with law enforcement, or enforce our policies.

11. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

However, no method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for using caution when communicating with strangers. Do not share passwords, financial information, private addresses, sensitive personal information, or other information that could expose you to harm.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, operate our business, improve the Services, enforce our Terms, protect safety and security, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  5. Uploaded Avatar content may be retained while it is used in the Services and for a reasonable period after removal or account deletion.
  6. Logs, analytics, debugging, diagnostic, and performance data may be retained for product, safety, security, and operational purposes.
  7. Information subject to legal process, law enforcement requests, or safety investigations may be retained as necessary or required by law.

We may also retain aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

13. International Data Transfers

Star67 is operated from the United States. If you access or use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

These countries may have privacy laws that are different from the laws in your country. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to, integrations with, or content from third-party websites, apps, platforms, services, avatars, marketplaces, payment providers, analytics providers, social media platforms, advertising networks, retargeting partners, or other third parties.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third parties.

You should review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and may provide additional notice where required by law.

Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
